Mike Young | Founder, Director | E-Mail
Mike is the Executive Director and founder of Noble Warriors, an independent, community ministry to men. Noble Warriors partners with local churches in order to supplement and/or initiate men’s ministry. Through these efforts, Mike and other Noble Warriors Call Men OUT of spiritual passiveness and Call Men UP to abundant life in Christ.
Professionally Mike has been a high school science teacher, an assistant principal and a custom home builder. While working in the field of education, Mike coached football and soccer and helped start two FCA (Fellowship of Christian Athlete) huddles.
Mike has been actively involved in church life since childhood. He made a profession of faith and was baptized at the age of 13, but really began to grow as a Christian while in college. As an adult he has served as Sunday school teacher, youth leader, deacon and small group coordinator. Mike is an Eagle Scout who currently serves as the Cub Master of his sons’ pack. His hobbies include reading, woodworking and outdoor activities.
As a public speaker, Mike has stood in for a number of pastors, led large and small group conference sessions for men, women and couples, led marriage enrichment and parenting seminars in addition to youth retreats and men’s retreats. He has also spoken at a variety of MOPS events.
Mike met his wife Stacy when they were summer missionaries at a Christian Camp. Their camp romance blossomed into a lifelong marriage commitment (14 years so far!) and four children, Timothy (11), Zachery (8), Benjamin (5) and Hannah (2).
Mike is a teacher, encourager, friend, son, husband and father who seeks to live abundantly in Christ. |
