Noble Notes Challenge ~ May 3, 2010

It’s May Already!

Good morning men. I’m sure many of you are just as surprised as I am that it’s May already. I’m also amazed at how busy this season is with things that we must pay attention to. It’s easy to get lost in the busyness and miss God. This week, I want to remind you of a number of upcoming events and opportunities. But first, here’s a key verse from Ecclesiastes that we should all pay attention to: There is a time for everything, and a season for every activity under heaven. Folks, when things get crazy, take time to slow down and reflect on the fact that no matter how busy we get, God is in control of the times and the seasons!

Here are some reminders… First, be mindful of the fact that Thursday is the National Day of Prayer. Citizens across our land will gather in groups large and small to pray for our country. Stacy and I will be praying at noon on the steps of the state capitol. We’d love to have you join us there! Next, our goal is to see a thriving disciple-making ministry in every local church. So, on Friday we’re hosting a men’s ministry leadership training called Reaching Every Man. You can find our more about that on the Noble Warriors website.

Finally, don’t forget…. Don’t dare forget… that Sunday is Mother’s day. Your challenge for today and the week is to keep up with all this stuff.
