A Wife of Noble Character

Good morning men. I want you to know that I’m for you. I’m on your side. I want you to win at home. That’s why I’m spending some time reminding you that Sunday is Mother’s Day. If you’re married and have children… Dad, you may need to help your children remember to do something special for mom. And, it would be great if you might lead the charge by honoring the mother of your children.

You might read Proverbs thirty one for inspiration. In this passage about a wife of noble character, husbands are mentioned three times. A husband should have full confidence in his wife. Because of her diligence, the husband is respected among his peers, and finally the husband, along with the children, rises to bless and praise this noble woman. Guys, this should provide a model for you, and me.

I can tell you now that you would not be hearing my voice if it were not for the incredible support and encouragement that Stacy gives me. Our family and home would be a disorganized mess without her care and nurturing. And, I so appreciate the fact that her heart’s desire was and is to be a great mother to our children. She is truly a woman of noble character. I’m proud to call her my wife! Men, please accept the challenge to find a special way to honor your wife on Mother’s Day!
