I first heard of Noble Warriors in 2008 when a man who had been leading a fledgling group of men at our church taped a flyer about “Noble Warriors” to my office door. But it wasn’t until attending the 2011 Leading Noble Men conference that I learned about NW’s vision to partner with pastors to reach men.
MCC had made a strategic decision in late 2010 to target men as a church. The LNM conference gave us momentum to launch our first “Manland” series (5 Sundays of discovering what makes men tick and how God grows a man). Our first Iron Sharpens Iron conference for our men in the spring of that year was a great culmination to the series and catalyst to keep our momentum. We’ve never looked back, since.
