Kent Evans of The Manhood Journey and Mike discuss how we need wise guys in our lives to learn from and how we can become wise guys for younger men.

Kent answers some questions guys have like:

  • Why do I have the gifts I have?
  • What do I do with them?
  • What is wisdom?

His answers might not be what you think!

He also challenges a theology problem he says many guys have that if you believe, you should just tear out every page of the Bible.

Kent is a man whose life was changed when his best friend’s dad reached out to encourage him in college. He learned that you can’t become the “un-something” because life has a way of turning you into what you don’t want. From that point on, he decided to invest his life learning from men who have something he wants, and he’s poured all that knowledge into his book Wise Guys

He points to 1 Peter 4:10 as he encourages guys that God isn’t looking for perfect people. He’s given each of us gifts to use for the Kingdom.

“As each has received a gift, use it to serve one another, as good stewards of God’s varied grace.”
