Family Update | October 2023

“CICI” visited the Young family in Fort Moore, Georgia. OWEN and LIAM were excited to spend time with her, while TIM and CAROLINE took the opportunity to go on a whitewater rafting date!

STACY also enjoyed a quick day visit with HANNAH on some of the trails around Lynchburg! BEN has jumped back into serving the 3-year-olds at church on Sunday mornings and leading a small group. As you read this, ZACH is flying somewhere in Eastern Europe. We hope to have him home in time for Christmas! We covet your prayers!

NW Team Highlight

GREG ELGIN (Podcast Production) is proud to say he’s from Kansas, but he and his wife, Shauna, have been Virginians for over 20 years. During Greg’s first mission trip, he discovered the International Mission Board (IMB), an organization that facilitates mission work worldwide. It was obvious God had a plan during Greg’s first overseas journey because it was only a few months later that he moved to Richmond to work at the IMB! Greg continues the Great Commission task today by working with churches and other faith-based organizations. He and Shauna spend most of their fun time with their daughter, Eliana.
