Spring 2025 Updates

From February through April, were blessed to see more than a thousand men who joined with guys from their churches to attend one of our three Noble Warriors Men’s Conferences here in Virginia. We think it was a great Conference Season! But don’t just take our word for it…here is what some guys who came to the conferences had to say!

We love hearing how the Lord is using Noble Warriors to equip men to live out God’s mission in their homes, ministries, and communities! At our conferences this year, we wanted to be strategic in capturing a handful of testimonies from men and women who have been impacted by the ministry. So…we set up a “Noble Warriors Story Corner” at each conference and invited attendees, volunteers, and spouses, to come sit down for an on-camera chat. We were encouraged to hear so many stories about how God is working in the hearts of everyday men to boldly proclaim the truth about Jesus and to make an impact in the lives of other men in their circles of influence. 

Now when they saw the boldness of Peter and John, and perceived that they were uneducated, common men, they were astonished. And they recognized that they had been with Jesus. Acts 4:13

During our interviews, it was inspiring to also hear several stories from men who took the desire God had given them to disciple men, the resources and tools they received through engagement with Noble Warriors, and a do-it-yourself spirit, to construct different outlets to creatively minister to many men in their churches and communities. 

Ron V. is one of those guys. He came to a Noble Warriors Conference several years ago and left moved and motivated to do something to reach men. After prayer, and the support of his wife, Ron eventually converted an old shed in his backyard into a man cave. Ron called the shed The Foundry and every Friday night, he invited men to come over. Now, you’ll find Ron and a group of men in The Foundry studying God’s Word and doing life together. 

Nathan Carr, from Southside Baptist Church, gave another great example of God at work through DIY discipleship. Nathan opened his garage and begin Men Ready, a ministry focused on helping guys build relationships with other men who might not step foot in a church unless they already knew someone. Ten years later, more than 100 men gather for a ten-week session centered around a meal, a Bible Study, and a small group discussion. Noble Warriors has walked with Nathan and the Men Ready ministry since day one – supporting Nathan and his men’s leaders through coaching, encouragement, and resourcing. 

Nathan is grateful to God for placing ministries like Noble Warriors and people in his life to fuel his passion and give guidance as he disciples other men. “As I look back, I really value the men who invested in me. I had a lot of coaches who were believers, and they just really poured into me. They helped to mold and make me the man I am today. I think that appreciation for those men, just inspired me to be a man like that and to inspire other men to do that as well.”

As we wrap up with conferences, we will be moving into a new ministry season here at Noble Warriors. Will you please remember to pray for us?

• THANK the Lord for the many volunteers who served at one or more of the conferences to pray for the day, serve lunches, lead worship, and handed out SWAG bags. Thanks also to those of you who mobilized men from your churches. Noble Warriors would not exist without the selfless service of so many volunteers.
• PRAY for our team as we evaluate the 2025 season and begin planning for 2026, but even more that we would follow up effectively with pastors, ministry leaders, and men who made commitments to walk with Christ and lead well during our conferences. 
• PRAY specifically for Mike as he spends the next few months focused on researching and writing his Doctor of Ministry project that will help Noble Warriors encourage and equip more pastors and leaders to disciple men as a priority.
