Dr. B is the Executive Director of Beyond Walls Ministries as well as one of our very own Noble Warriors board members. Beyond Walls seeks to grow men through discipleship which is something Dr. B also experienced personally as he was discipled by Pastor Norman Griffen.

“He asked me, ‘How much do you know in the Bible?’ and I said ‘Not much.’ He said, ‘You should not miss an opportunity to learn more.’ He began to disciple me and at the time I didn’t even know it.”

Since then Dr. B has been laboring along with us to disciple and encourage men in the local church. His own salvation is what pushed him to pursue others.

“I know what the Lord did for me. And I know what the Lord can do in the lives of men that submit themselves to our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Jesus can change a man’s life and his family.”

At this point in Dr. B’s life he says the man in the bible he most identifies with is David.

“I was so rejected by everyone in my youth even though someone said I was anointed. And now I still struggle with the contradiction between being anointed and being rejected at the same time.”

Currently, Dr. B is reading The Difference Jesus Makes by H.B. Charles, Jr. His favorite book to give to others is Greater by Steven Furtick.

When we asked Dr B. who the hero was in his life, he said it’s his grandfather.
