If you want to have success coming out of an event, you’ve got to have a plan going in!
We will have hundreds of men at the Noble Warriors Men’s Conference in Fredericksburg, VA. But, if we are not careful, we can fall into doing a lot of “cul-de-sac” ministry, going round and round without real direction.
Keep your momentum coming and launch your men’s ministry season with the right next steps.
Five Ways to Help Your Men Take the “Right Next Step.”
1. Pray for Your Men.
You’ve just spent time with them at the event and probably know a little more about some of the men who joined you. Pray for them, their families, and any specific needs you learned about.
2. Share the Gospel.
Don’t take it for granted that all men in your group know Jesus personally. You may have an opportunity to engage in a spiritual conversation that leads to a new brother in the family! Be ready to share your testimony with another guy. Check out 3 Circles for a simple and very effective gospel presentation strategy.
3. Launch a Group.
As a leader, I encourage you to spend as much time preparing for what’s next as you did preparing for the event, if not more. It is wise and fruitful to leverage every larger gathering of men to announce the launch of at least one new small group for men. This is where Noble Warriors can help! Consider BetterMan, Authentic Manhood, Kingdom Man, the Master Builder’s Bible for Men, or Point Man, or email us with a question about a specific resource.
4. Launch Leaders.
Be on the lookout for “faithful men who will teach others also” (2 Timothy 2:2b). These guys may not feel ready to lead, but with your encouragement and some equipping, they could step up to lead their families better or lead a small group of their own. Ask God to help you notice these guys and begin investing in them.
5. Let Us Know How We Can Help!
Noble Warriors’ mission is to serve churches as they equip men to walk with Christ and lead well. Let us know if you have questions or how we might help with specific needs as you disciple men in and through your church!
