When one rules justly over men, ruling in the fear of God, he dawns on them like the morning light, like the sun shining forth on a cloudless morning, like rain that makes grass to sprout from the earth. 2 Samuel 23:4
Keith Tully takes this verse seriously. As the FamilyLife representative for our area, Keith knows the importance of being a leader in the home and knows the importance of all men doing the same.
“They [men] have been chosen for influence and called to leave a godly legacy.”
Discipling men to become leaders in their home is something close to Keith and FamilyLife’s heart. Keith’s own journey started with being discipled himself. Clarke Morelage was that mentor to Keith and his wife Trish when they were young believers.
“He taught us how to dig into God’s word and the value of community.”
As another veteran presenter, Keith is ready and available to be that voice of encouragement to other men ready to take the next step towards leading their families.
One of his favorite books to recommend to people is Choosing a Life That Matters by Dennis Rainey, another Noble Man speaker. He also has been reading Dennis Rainey’s Stepping Up – A Call to Courageous Manhood.
Keith also has a few heroes in his life who he feels fully represent the concept of a Noble Man.
“Morrison Lawing, Tom Mowell, Mike Montgomery – All military men who have walked out their marriages faithfully and discipled men and marriages throughout their entire lives. They are all leaving a powerful legacy.”
