In high school, Kris Dolberry became immersed in ministry leadership, which lead to the decision during college to give his life to serving churches. Since then he has served as teaching pastor, executive pastor, campus pastor, and student pastor. He is also a writer and speaker, as well as former Director of LifeWay Men. Currently, he serves as Pastor of The Bridge Church in Spring Hill, TN.

Currently, Kris is reading Deep Work by Cal Newport, but one of his favorite books is Shattered Dreams by Larry Crabb. In the book, the author explains that “sometimes God allows dreams to shatter, to give you the ability to dream a higher dream.” Kris is married to his high school sweetheart, Vanessa, a real estate agent in Nashville. They are parents to three kids, ages 17, 15 and 11. Interestingly, when Kris was their age, he had no idea who his birth parents were. He was adopted at 5 months old, but eventually tracked them down and met his birth parents when he was 21 years old.
