Family Update | February 2022
As the newest member to the team, I wanted to give a little introduction to my story.
I grew up in Texas in a Christian home. At the time my older sister was being baptized this began a series of conversations with my mother about salvation. I recognized that I was a sinner and believed that Christ’s sacrifice could pay for the debt I owed.
I prayed to receive Christ and was baptized.
From that time on, I knew God had not only saved me but had a purpose for me. I always had an interest in missions, and over the years God grew that desire in me. After finishing college, I applied to go with the IMB for a 2-year commitment in South America. I was placed on a team with two national partners, Javier from Peru and Robert from Argentina. Our team worked in remote communities that had the least access to Gospel witness. We used Chronological Bible Storying to communicate the Good News in predominantly oral communities. We saw a lot of challenges as well as much fruit, including three baptisms.
God grew my faith and understanding of Him deeply during those years.
After returning to the US, the Lord brought me and my wife (Diana) together as I moved to North Carolina to attend seminary. Our desire has been to return to the mission field but in the Lord’s timing. In 2019, God brought us a daughter (Lily) who has given us so much joy and understanding about how we relate to God as Father. In 2020 we moved to Midlothian to be closer to family and seek what God had next.
I’m excited to be a part of the Noble Warriors team and invest in the discipleship of men!
