I met Michael at a Chick Fil-A after breakfast with one of my sons. I hung around a bit after Ben left and ended up in a conversation with Michael. He was aware of Noble Warriors and had even been to a conference event. It has been great fun to learn of his enthusiasm for men’s discipleship and see him use his skills (he has major experience in the insurance industry) to help us with both conference ministry and some operational tasks.
When I asked Michael if he would review our insurance policies he eagerly agreed and said, “Oh man, this is easy for me! This is a layup!” (And lay-ups are easy money for guys who are 6’ 7”!)

How and when did you first get involved with Noble Warriors?
I first got involved with Noble Warriors at the Noble Man Conference in Richmond 2018. I was encouraged to attend by a fellow Bon Air Baptist worshipper – John McComber. I found great spiritual power there.
What is your favorite verse?
My favorite verse is: but they who wait for the LORD shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings like eagles; they shall run and not be weary; they shall walk and not faint. Isaiah 40:31
What are your hobbies?
My hobbies are walking, tennis and basketball with my bride; maintenance projects around our home; study of world and American history.
If you woke up tomorrow as an animal, what animal would you choose to be and why?
I would choose to wake up as an eagle.
