Tim hit a HUGE milestone last month as he graduated from West Point and commissioned as a 2nd Lieutenant. He’s on leave for most of June and July before heading off to Ft. Benning, GA for Infantry Officer Basic Leadership Course (IBOLC) and then Ranger school. We enjoyed many aspects of the ceremonies but a favorite moment was when Zach (who just finished his first year at VT in the Corps of Cadets) gave Time his first salute!

Our military month got even better when Zach was invited to represent the VT Corps of Cadets by laying a wreath at the Virginia War Memorial.

We are thankful for the men and women who have given their lives for our political freedom. But even more thankful for Jesus who gave his life for our eternal salvation!
