Minute with Mike / February 2020
I don’t know a guy who doesn’t want to be a better man. I talk to many younger men especially who say, “I feel like I’m missing something. I want to be a better man (husband, father or ____) but I don’t know how. I didn’t have a great example. I’m not sure where to start.”
Sadly, many churches haven’t done a great job of helping young men see Jesus in this light. And, our culture has done much to tarnish and taint the whole concept of manhood.
But, there’s help on the way.
Robert Lewis, who many of you know because of Men’s Fraternity and Raising a Modern Day Knight, is leading a team to launch the BetterMan initiative. BetterMan will feature an 11-week curriculum specifically designed to connect younger men outside the church with seasoned men to explore God’s original plan for manhood.
We’re pleased to be helping pilot the launch of BetterMan here in Virginia and are praying that over 200 churches will launch BetterMan groups across the state this fall. Robert Lewis will be here on April 28th to host BetterMan training. Mark the date and check out NobleWarriors.org/BetterMan.
- Pray with us for God to raise up leaders and teams from over 200 churches who will make strategic investments in helping young men understand biblical manhood.
