Young Adventures / October 2018

Ben and Hannah are back in school. This is Ben’s last year of high school and Hannah’s final year in middle school.

BEN is already busy with homework and school activities, including his Monday night Bible Study. (The guys are going to be using Rod Hairston’s Cover Her book to better understand how they should provide covering and protection for women in their lives.)

HANNAH was selected as a captain for her basketball team and continues to enjoy babysitting for the leader of the high school girl’s Bible study that meets next door. Next year, she’ll be an official participant!

TIM joined the rest of the family for a weekend visit to Virginia Tech that featured a visit to the Floyd Country Store for country eats, flat-foot and square dancing! It was a great time for family fun!

STACY and I traveled to Denver to join a meeting with new Promise Keepers leadership and were able to spend an extra day driving and hiking in Rocky Mountain National Park. It was a double blessing to engage conversations with other men’s leaders from across the country AND spend some time in a beautiful part of God’s creation.
