Battle Briefing | July 2023
The close relationship between the role of fathers and Christianity in America has been exposed in the recent Nationwide Study on Faith & Relationships by Communio.org, a nonprofit organization that consults with churches regarding the nation’s family and faith crisis.
“The collapse of resident fathers through the collapse of marriage is at the heart of the unraveling of Christianity.”
We’ve often said that as the man goes, so goes the family, and so goes the church, and we see the statistics play out that way. “Family decline appears to fuel faith decline.” It’s a biblical manhood issue, and it’s a global issue, not just an American one.
Because of your support, Noble Warriors is uniquely positioned to address this crisis.
Increasingly, more churches are asking about issues specifically dealing with men. The church is the mechanism God intended for healing, and we get to come alongside them in a unique way, with our heads in the game completely focused on how to reach and build men, pointing them to Jesus.
You are standing with us in a valuable place where we have the opportunity to help put the pieces together – purity, challenges with youth and launching them well, social media, violence, marriage, and family. We are grateful that through your support, we can continue serving the church this way.
According to the grace of God given to me, like a skilled master builder I laid a foundation, and someone else is building upon it. Let each one take care how he builds upon it. For no one can lay a foundation other than that which is laid, which is Jesus Christ. 1 Corinthians 3:10-11

Two recent books that help the church address some of these issues for men:
Living As a Man of Valor by Brad Smith
“Revealing what the Bible says about a man’s position, priorities, and practices, this book gives men worldwide the truth of biblical manhood… When men build from this position of strength in the Lord—when they hear, believe, and act on these truths, men, women, children, community leaders, and pastors report changed lives, revived marriages and families, and growing churches.”
The Healing Church: What Churches Get Wrong About Pornography and How to Fix It by Sam Black
“It’s not enough to understand that the local Church has a hidden porn problem. Church leaders need a primer on how people become trapped, why they often stay stuck alone, and how the Church can help people come out of hiding to find lasting freedom… Pastors and ministry leaders receive an empathetic guide to help those struggling to stop using porn for good… or never even start.”
