Family Update / July 2019

July has been a big month for the Young Crew!

BEN got a tassel! Ben graduated from High School! We are proud of this accomplishment and look for ward to how God will use him in his next adventure at NC State. He was the Sr. Class President so it was great fun to watch him lead his class in the procession at graduation and give one last senior speech and joke of the day! He left his mark on MHS!

TIM earned his wings when he completed Airborne School at Ft. Benning. CAROLINE BREEDEN got a ring! So, perhaps the biggest news is that Tim proposed to Ms. Caroline Breeden this month! We’re excited to welcome a new daughter to our family and Hannah is especially excited to finally have a sister!

HANNAH and I are in Southeast Asia now working with local missionaries in missions work. Hosting father/daughter banquets, discipling local believers and working in the slums with underprivileged girls is a focus on our trip! ZACH’S joining in on spreading our family around the globe this month! He’s in Hungary with a cultural and military training program sponsored by the ROTC program. He’s already met a Hungarian cadet who’s a passionate Christ follower and they were able to encourage each other! Amazing!

STACY AND I celebrated our 27th anniversary this month. It started off well with a delightful dinner out. But, ended harshly when our vehicle was vandalized and her purse, phone, briefcase and computer were stolen. Certainly, a frustrating situation, but we have much more to be thankful for! Spiritual warfare has been rampant for the weeks leading up to my trip with Hannah, many flaming arrows the enemy has shot but pray that we continue to STAND FIRM in the midst of trials! Our God is victorious!
