Allen Crostic works professionally as an anti-money laundering investigator but spends his time teaching apologetics and theology through his church, conferences, and podcasts. His passion for apologetics was born out of his own testimony. Though he was raised in a Christian home, he had a lot of confusion surrounding his personal beliefs about God. He began to think critically about his faith for the first time in his early college years and benefitted greatly from apologetics in that endeavor, so much so that he eventually decided to pursue a Master of Arts in Apologetics in seminary. 

He will conduct a workshop at The Noble Man Conference on April 15 called “Tactics: Develop a Plan for Hard Conversations.” It aligns with his desire to do his part in equipping others to make a mark on this world for the Kingdom, make disciples of all nations, and fulfill the Great Commission. (Matt. 28:19-20) 

“Jesus came so that we can change this world, and we can’t change this world unless we know how to engage others and talk to them about our faith… These conversations are going to arise whether you initiate them or not. If they are going to arise, wouldn’t you kind of like to know what to say?” 

His current read is Jesus and the Eyewitnesses by Richard Baukham, a phenomenal book that gives compelling arguments for eyewitnesses’ testimonies behind the gospel narratives. 

He is happily married to his wife, Melissa, who works in employment law. He has two teen stepsons, Jackson and Zachary. Jackson is pursuing a degree in criminal justice at Liberty University. Zachary will pursue a career in veterinary medicine at Virginia Tech next year while in the core of cadets. 

When he’s not working or teaching apologetics, you might find him video editing or scuba diving in his favorite place, Turks and Caicos.
