The best advice Dwight McDowell ever received was, “Stop clowning around and marry Angela.” 

That was 33 years ago, and God knew what He was doing. Today, the McDowells are passionate about sharing God’s design for marriage and relationships with others. They are co-founders of The Marriage Mapp and EOVBAA, a fruitful ministry built from the desire to mentor, coach, equip, and motivate couples to build and sustain a strong marriage covenant. McDowell is an accredited life coach and uses faith-based processes to help couples tap into God’s beautiful plan for marriage. 

The two have four beautiful children, a grandchild, and a host of spiritual and godchildren. Many have noted and praised their legacy, including The Lt. Governor of Virginia, who once coined and awarded them “Parents of the Day.” In his spare time, McDowell finds joy in fishing, watching the Dallas Cowboys, and sitting in his hot tub.  

McDowell is passionate about mentoring and sharing God’s design for relationships with adults and teens and will speak on marriage and family at the conference on April 15.
