Workshop Highlight 2023: Fred Weymouth, The Fix Ministry

Fred Weymouth is pastor and co-founder of The Fix Ministry, an urban ministry that reaches the homeless and catalyzes change in the lives of the lost in Richmond, Virginia.

His personal testimony is powerful and equips him to introduce others to the freedom Christ came to bring. Weymouth served in the United States Coast Guard for 12 years but suffered homelessness, drug addiction, and the hopelessness of being a slave to sin. One night, he prayed from his cardboard bed that God would save and deliver him from his addiction. The Lord heard his prayer and began to transform his mind and set him on a path to complete freedom in Christ. Deep inside Weymouth was a desire to see others experience this real freedom, which led him to cofound the Fix Ministry. Weymouth is zealous about seeing others come to know the God who breaks chains, and he is passionate about seeing the local church continue to equip others to do the same.

At The Noble Man Conference on April 15 he will speak on identity in Christ. Weymouth’s favorite book is The Godly Man’s Picture by Thomas Watson, on what a godly man looks like. He quotes, “A humble saint is content with that condition which God sees is best for him. A proud man complains that he has no more; a humble man wonders that he has so much: ‘I am not worthy of the least of all your mercies!'”
