Steven Chumley was a State Trooper for Virginia for 36 years before retiring. He held many positions throughout his time there, including that of a Department Chaplain, and knows firsthand the challenges of living out your faith in a stressful workplace. His heart is to see men bring their faith into the workplace, no matter where or what that may be.
Appropriately, his favorite book focuses on the Great Commission: Nobodies for Jesus by Chuck Lawless. He believes God calls men to live out a lifestyle fulfilling the Great Commission, which was given to us in Matthew 28:19. “Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit.”
He currently serves as a Chaplain for the Corporate Chaplains of America and is married to the love of his life, Katie. They are blessed with three children, a son-in-law, and three grandchildren. In addition to his people, Chumley finds joy in playing bass guitar and fishing. We are excited to hear what God has laid on his heart for the conference!
