Aaron Titko completed an entire career in the Army before going into ministry full-time. His time serving gave him a heart for military families and the ability to relate and speak to the unique stresses that military families have that their civilian counterparts do not. Titko encourages believers not to be turned away by the potentially uncomfortable realities of ministering to the lost, something for which he believes the church has largely lost the vision.
“Church should be filled with dangerous men who are disruptive for the furtherment of the gospel,” says Titko.
Once Titko neared retirement, he got his Masters of Biblical Studies and applied to join Cru Military. Today, he is the Director of Cru Military in Hampton Roads. He and his wife of 24 years, Christine, stay busy with their three “awesome red-headed children in 8th, 10th, and 12th grade.” Titko also enjoys backpacking in the Shenandoah Mountains to recharge his batteries and reconnect with God.
