Michael Thompson believes we need more good men who “are dangerous for good.” He serves as President of Zoweh, a nonprofit mission dedicated to helping others “experience inner healing and intimate connection with God and with others.” His personal healing, validation, and initiation in his masculine journey have compelled him to encourage and equip other men for the battle we all are in. Every man can make a comeback to become who God uniquely made him to be and offer that goodness to the world around him, starting at home and then beyond.
“If men are a part of the problem, we believe men can be a great part of the solution.”
Thompson has authored three books: Search and Rescue: The Life and Love Looking for You, The Heart of a Warrior: Before You Can Become the Warrior You Must Become the Beloved Son, and King Me: Loving and Leading in a Wounding World.
He is married to his wife Robin, and they have three grown daughters, Ashley (married to Aders), Hannah, and Abbey. After playing college basketball and three years for Athletes in Action, he still enjoys playing hoops today, along with hiking, fishing, and spending time in the mountains.
Best advice: You can talk with God, really, ask him a question, and then listen with your heart.
