MIKE is trying to adjust to the thought – in less than 1 year, we won’t have any boys living in the house. STACY continues to manage donor/partner relations for Noble Warriors and does bookkeeping for her Dad’s business. Together, we continue to invest in younger couples at church and love being able to share life with them.
TIM graduated from West Point and commissioned as a 1st Lieutenant in May. He spent some time on the West Coast hiking and attending 2 weddings. We had him at home for a few weeks before he took off for Officer Basic at Ft. Benning. He’ll be home for Christmas and will be stationed in Hawaii next summer.
ZACH enjoyed a construction internship with W.M. Jordan this summer and is back at VT settling in for year two in the Corps of Cadets. He’s leading a small group and getting ready to launch 33, Vol. 1 with a group of guys. We just learned that he’ll be training with the Hungarian military next summer.
We can’t believe BEN is a senior applying for colleges and scholarships. His mission trip to Nepal and Thailand over the summer accelerated his interest in missions. He still leads a Bible study for high school guys and mentors some middle school guys. Basketball and yard work jobs fill the rest of his time.
HANNAH had a great 8th grade basketball season; undefeated in the regular season! She enjoys her middle school girls Bible study, babysitting, and sending care packages to her brothers and his buddies. She and Mike are looking forward to a father/daughter mission trip to South Asia next summer.
