WHO IS A CHURCH CHAMPION?

 

  • Church Champions are men in the local church whom God has called and equipped to advocate for strategic, intentional discipleship of men at all ages and stages.
  • Champions for men see the potential manhood in young boys and value the wisdom and experience of seasoned men. They help these two groups of men connect because… The Young Man needs the Old Man’s wisdom while the Old Man needs the Young Man’s strength.
  • Champions for men advocate for, plan and execute strategies leading to spiritual formation of men, not just events to keep men busy.
  • Champions for men engage intentionally, strategically, personally, and prayerfully in helping men in their church and community walk with Christ and lead well.

Are You a Champion for Men in Your Church?

We hope the champion for men will be the pastor, but it could be a men’s ministry leader or a layman with a passion for men’s discipleship. A pastor needs those men to come alongside him as he disciples the men of his church to walk with Christ and lead their families well. Our goal is to find these men, equip them for the work and encourage them as they invest in the men of their church and community.

We want to equip you strategically to go beyond the events we call men’s ministry and to see men grow in their faith and walk with Jesus Christ because when men become the spiritual leaders in their homes, we can effectively reach the entire church.

Can the pastor be a Champion for Men?

Absolutely! And we want them to be The Champion for Men in the local church. However, with so many obligations and responsibilities a pastor must ask God to call out and up a few other men to lock arms with him in the important work of discipling men.

How does Noble Warriors support and encourage Church Champions?
    1. We identify and evaluate various men’s ministry resources and tools developed by others. (Be on the lookout for resource reviews!)
