A former pastor who earned his M.Div. from Princeton Theological Seminary, is now a freelance writer and speaking coach, as well as the founder of The Samson Society. Nate is the founder of the Samson Society, a ministry that has fostered deeper more authentic connections to men all over the world through facilitating groups of men in face-to-face and virtual conversations. Nate is also a published author of several books including a book entitled: Samson and the Pirate Monks: Calling Men to Authentic Brotherhood, [Thomas Nelson 2007.] Nate is a graduate of St. Lawrence University and Princeton Theological Seminary. Nate is a popular speaker at conferences, colleges, and retreats, and is the co-host of two podcasts, The Pirate Monk Podcast and The Positive Sobriety Podcast. He and his wife, Allie, recently celebrated their 45th wedding anniversary. They live in Mt. Pleasant, Tennessee.

A former American Marine Corps officer, pastor and actor who co-starred in the 2008 film Fireproof and the 2011 film Courageous. He serves as the Connections & Local Missions Pastor at Sherwood Baptist Church, based in Albany, Georgia. Ken is a native of Jacksonville, FL
He is also a graduate of the University of Memphis with a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Engineering Technology and a graduate of the Naval Postgraduate School with a Masters of Business Administration degree in Logistics Management. Ken is married to his wife Luana, and they have two beautiful children, Kyra and Kaleb.
